Mid season is when buried heads disappear behind hosta and spray hits fence boards instead of turf. Look for misting when you need throw, clogged nozzles, and heads tilted by mowers or plows. On slopes, watch for runoff on paths before soil absorbs water. Cycle soak beats one long pass on bench lots above the lake.
Overlap with turf and beds
Lawns and planting beds rarely need identical minutes. New mulch can shed water if spray only hits leaves. Coordinate head tweaks with property maintenance so trimming exposes heads without scalping recovering edges.
